Today I have lunch at Losely House in the Wisteria Tea rooms. followed by a wonder around the beautiful gardens. We did not booked onto a tour of the house this trip, but if you are going it is a great way to learn about the history of the house.
Happy New Year one and all; and I hope this is the start of a fantastic, happy and healthy year!
To start the new year I have started a new 365 day project, if you wish to follow please do!

Having actually got up early to take the dogs to the seaside I got home to deal with a giant marrow I was given.
With it I made:
The extra flour I tried out some rough pastry. Who knew it was so easy! Get flour, frozen butter, salt, pepper and a little water. Grate frozen butter, mix it together, stick it in the fridge for half an hour, make tarts (Filled with homemade marrow chutney and goats cheese) and eat!
Does anyone else struggle with their work life balance?
I am trying to catch up on work; photo editing, painting for an upcoming exhibition, and the ongoing sorting of years of projects that need filing, finishing or throwing away!
But I keep getting distracted with my garden, seeing friends, and walking the dogs! Life is winning, work is losing!
This weekend is writing a plan to fit in everything I want to do!
