Busy times

Some days you believe you have taken on to many things and nothing is getting done. Some days you see that you are chipping away at lots of different projects and the reward will come later down the line. Some days you need to take stock and shut down those things that realistically will not…

New painting 

Today I started on a new painting!  It is an abstract landscape, it shows the movement in asthetics from the work I was producing in London (central row right), influenced by the environment I now live in (the landscape photographs). So far I have done 2 small studies, and started drawing out the large canvas….

The back off effect

Having actually got up early to take the dogs  to the seaside I got home to deal with a giant marrow I was given. With it I made:  ginger and narrow jam,  ginger, orange and current cakes froze the spare marrow for later The extra flour I tried out some rough pastry. Who knew it…
