I am Sophie Douglas. I am an Artist, photographer and art teacher.
I run The Arts School, based in East Sussex. I teach drawing and painting, materials exploration, as well as project development for artists looking for some external support and guidance.
I work with individuals and businesses using creativity for wellbeing.
I draw and paint around raising my two children . My work explores materials in 2D from paint to pencil, wax and water, mixing and blending and working with colour to create interesting and beautiful textures within my work. I work from still life, figures and imagination predominantly.
